Everything should be easy to understand if you follow the teacher's instructions, the user guide and the videos. Make sure to complete the assessment tasks for each lesson. Try to improve any games that you create with your own ideas.
You can download Game Maker at home if you search for YoYO Games. It's free! There's loads more tutorials on there too to try out.
Follow each lesson from Introduction to main and then go to the what we have learned today page. Feel free to work ahead at your pace and use the Game Maker help to try and create new stuff in your game. If you keep improving your Catch the Clown game maybe you will hit level 5 before you even do the end of unit assessment task.
